Selecting a Casket

Selecting a Burial Vault
What is a burial vault? A casket will not withstand the weight of the earth’s load or heavy cemetery digging equipment driving over the grave. Without the protection of a grave vault, the casket and its contents may be crushed. A depression may appear above ground.
The dual function of a vault is to protect the casket and prevent settling of the gravesite. Although not required by law, many cemeteries require an outside container such as a vault to help preserve the beauty of the property and reduce maintenance costs by supporting the weight of the earth and heavy equipment that may pass over the grave.
Your assisting funeral director will help you select the quality burial vault that fits within your budget and style.
Cremation Options
There are many options available if you choose cremation.
Cremation allows you to arrange any type of ceremony which is right for you, with cremation before or after the service.
We have specially designed and priced cremation caskets which allow visitation and/or funeral service, with cremation to follow. Or you can select a cremation first, followed by a memorial service.
