James Erwin Myers 90, formerly of Hazel, KY died July 11, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
Born May 28, 1920 in Hazel, Mr. Myers is a life long member of South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Mr. Myers is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Jean Myers; his parents, Galen & Bertha Erwin Myers; a sister, Edith Story and four brothers, Cletus Lee “Bud” Myers, William “Tink” Myers, Fred Hicks Myers and Joe Ray Myers .
He is survived by a son, Randy James Myers, of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter, Jackie DeShannon and husband Randy Edelman of Los Angeles, CA; one grandson Noah Edelman, of Los Angeles, CA and several nieces & nephews.
There will be a memorial service at noon, Tuesday July 27, 2010 at South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Rev. Eugene Nichols is officiating.
Burial will follow in the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Imes-Miller Funeral Home.
