Charlene Phillis Marie Hornbuckle, 78, of Murray died friday, June 25, 2010 at her residence.
She was a retired respiratory therapist at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital. She was a faithful member and part of the missionary society of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hornbuckle was preceded in death by her parents, John H. Hornbuckle, Sr. and Frocie Mae Hornbuckle; two brothers, John H. Hornbuckle, Jr. and Rev. William H. Hornbuckle.
She is survived by her two sisters, Mary L. Johnson and Thelma Bower (Melvin) and two brothers, Thomas W. Hornbuckle (Lillie) and James R. Hornbuckle; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A homegoing service will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 2, 2010 at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Heritage Family Funeral Home on Highway 121 Bypass North.
