Caryl Bush, 78, of Murray died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at her home.
Caryl enjoyed being surrounded by her friends and family. She also enjoyed flowers and music, but she especially loved sharing her Bible-based hope of living forever on a paradise earth with others.
A member of the Kindom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Murray, Mrs. Bush was born Caryl Elizabeth Quimby, on Nov. 24, 1931. She married Ralph O. Stockwell on June 30, 1950. He preceded her in death Nov. 11, 2003. On July 1, 2006 she married Jimmy Lee Bush, who preceded her in death on May 27, 2007.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Neva Williams Quimby; brothers, Darrell, Weldon, Frank Quimby; sisters, Mildred Phillips, Dorothy Quimby and a great grandchild, Isaac Wilson.
Mrs. Bush is survived by four sons, Lee Stockwell, wife Theresa of Benton, Bill Stockwell, wife Neva, David Stockwell, wife Dawn, Michael Stockwell, wife Tracey all of Murray; a daughter, Sherri Wilson, husband Rick of Murray; two brothers Gerald Quimby, Lloyd Quimby, wife Vivian, of Quimby, MI; a sister, Bernadine Grinnell, husband, Edwin of Jackson, MI; 37 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 28 at the Kingdom Hall in Murray. Jeff Steen will officiate.
